We are  Paul & Raylene, We are a small show kennels based in the West Midlands. 

We own and Show Irish Setters, Dogue de Bordeauxs and  Pomeranians.

All of our dogs are kept in our home, and are pets first and used for showing or breeding second. Many are handled in ringcraft and shows by our children.

We have kept and shown (lightly) Irish Setters for the past 5 years, we have had our first home bred puppy last year and have had 2 more puppies recently. We will keep one of these ourselves for showing and junior handling.

We were first introduced to the fantastic  Dogue de Bordeaux breed in 2005 and had our first Dogues in early 2008 from our good friend Kerry Jones at Willsanburg Kennels. Impressed with the excellent bloodlines and quality of puppies we have had a number of other Dogues from Kerry since and hold some others in partnership with her.

Our aim is to produce healthy quality Dogues of a large size with good temperments and movement. Most of the bitches we own here at Abnoba are on the top line of KC / FCI breed standard.All of our dogs and Stud dogs are selected for the quality of the bloodlines. We are commited to maintaining the health and true Dogue de Bordeaux type.  Not all Dogue de Bordeaux's are show dogues, but have the potential to continue on the bloodlines that is nesesary to improve and keep the breed correct.

We are committed to using hipscored breeding stock for our Bordeaux's and to screen all other breeding stock for other health issues that may affect that breed.
