We are Paul & Raylene, we live in Amblecote with our 3 children and our ever extending family of Dogues and other animals.

We were first introduced to the fantastic Dogue de Bordeaux breed in 2005 and had our first Dogues in early 2008 from our good friend Kerry Jones at Willsanburg Kennels. Having shown dogs before we were after a bitch for showing and relied on Kerry to sort us a puppy for the purpose, we were that pleased with our new addition we also had her sister a few weeks later. Impressed with the excellent bloodlines and quality of puppies we have had a number of other Dogues from Kerry since and have our Stud Dog "Wentworth" in partnership with her.

Our love of the Dogue de Bordeaux has grown ever since, we have added many of Europe's and indeed beyond best bloodlines available, our search for better and better bred dogs has however meant that our dogue family is for ever extending.

As with everything in life we have set our goals high with our Dogues, we aim to produce healthy quality Dogues of a large size with good temperaments and movement. Our preference has always been for a Bordeaux closer to the top end of breed standard, but we are careful not to overlook temperment, confirmation, type and most importantly health. We are aware that not the all Dogue de Bordeaux's we own are show Dogues, but all have the potential to continue on the bloodlines that is necessary to improve and keep the breed correct and healthy.

After all no matter how good you may think a dog is there is no such thing as a perfect specimen.

We are committed to using hip scored breeding stock for our Bordeaux's and to screen all other breeding stock for any other health issues that may affect that breed. As part of our commitment to the future and to the overall image of the breed we have joined the Kennel Club Accredited Breeder Scheme.
